Workshop on Disaster Management

A workshop on Disaster Management was conducted on 19th August in the school premises under the guidance of the Delhi Disaster Management Team. The session was attended by students from classes VIII to XII.

The workshop aimed to create awareness about disaster preparedness and responsibility. Students were provided with essential knowledge and hands on training to respond effectively during natural and man-made disasters.

Experts demonstrated safety drills, first aid techniques, and methods of rescuing the victims using available resources like creating stretcher with rods and bed sheet for shifting them to safer place, making a ladder by knotting a rope. Both teachers and students actively participated and benefitted from the workshop, which proved to be informative and life-enriching.
