Workshop on Happy Classroom

A one-day Capacity Building Workshop on "Happy Classroom" was organized under the CBSE initiative on 2nd August, 2025 at our school.
The workshop aimed to equip teachers with strategies to create a joyful, emotionally safe, and engaging learning environment for students.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Ankita & Ms. Deepa who shared insights on how happiness and emotional well-being play a pivotal role in effective teaching and learning.
The importance of a teacher's emotional intelligence. Building positive teacher-student relationships.

The role of gratitude, empathy, and mindfulness in classrooms. Techniques for stress management and
motivation. Creating a supportive and inclusive learning
environment. Happiness is foundational to effective learning.
The interactive sessions included group activities, reflective exercises, and case studies which enabled participants to relate the concepts to real classroom situations. Teachers also shared their experiences and discussed practical challenges and solutions.

Overall, it was a refreshing and insightful experience, empowering teachers to make classrooms not just spaces for academic learning, but for emotional growth and well-being as well.
